Pois bem, a Nintendo do Japão anunciou ontem o lançamento da sucessora da Wii!
De acordo com a Nintedo, a sucessora da Wii será lançada em 2012! Eles fizeram um curtíssimo comunicado a anunciar o acontecimento, prometendo novas informações para a próxima E3, que decorre entre 7 e 9 de Junho em Los Angeles.
Apesar de ainda serem rumores, eis o que já "sei" sobre a nova consola:
- Nome de Código: "Projecto Café"
- O controlador terá incluído um touch screen
- Hardware da consola é semelhante ao da Xbox360
- O controlador terá imbutída uma câmara
- 8 botões e 2 sticks analógicos

Nintendo of Japan announced yesterday a new Wii console! They maked a small press release, which you can read bellow, promising more news in E3, which will occur between 7 and 9 June in Los Angeles.
Press Release
"Nintendo Co., Ltd. has decided to launch in 2012 a system to succeed Wii, which the company has sold 86.01 million units on a consolidated shipment basis between its launch in 2006 and the end of March 2011.We will show a playable model of the new system and announce more specifications at the E3 Expo, which will be held June 7-9, 2011, in Los Angeles.
Sale of this new system have not been included in the financial forecasts announced today for the fiscal term ending March 2012."
Some rumors state this is the new Wii:
And some of its features are:
- Codename is ‘Project Cafe‘
- Controller will include a touch screen (latest rumors today measured it at 6.2inches)
- Hardware is similar to the Xbox360
- Controller has a built-in front-facing camera
- Features backwards Wii game compatibility
- 8 buttons and 2 analog sticks
